Truffles Chocolate Shop was established early 2011 and is located in the grounds of the Durham Dales Centre, Stanhope, Co. Durham, an award winning tourist facility situated in the Weardale area of Co. Durham which is a very popular tourist area and a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set high in the North Pennines in the North East of England.

Truffles is a family owned business and specialises in luxury handmade Belgian chocolates and truffles. The main stock of the shop consists of chocolate made off-premises by chosen high quality producers of chocolate and assorted products. The chocolate is made to order to the specific requirements of the Truffles company with some of the products brand named and packaged specific to the Truffles company.

Products range from small chocolate items suitable for children through to boxed, bagged and loose hand-made high quality chocolates which can be supplied in gift format with ribbons and bows. A selection of unique chocolate items are available from the shop ranging from chocolate greetings cards to various handmade chocolate animals and a range of chuckle bars and chocolate bars through to small, medium and large boxes of chocolates in presentation gift boxes.
